Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 21 October 2026

At Alma Research Labs, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from our website.

It covers both of the sites we operate: almaresearch.net, the access portal you confirm your age and research use on, and almapeptides.com, the catalogue it leads to. Where a practice applies to only one of them, it says so. “the Site” below means whichever of the two you are using.

1. Information We Collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and cookies installed on your device. When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase, we collect information from you including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number. We refer to this as “Order Information.”

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the Order Information we collect to fulfill orders placed through the Site — including processing payment, arranging shipping, and providing invoices and order confirmations. We also use this information to:

  • Communicate with you regarding your order or COA inquiries
  • Screen orders for potential risk or fraud
  • Ensure compliance with our Research Use Only policy
  • Send marketing communications, where you’ve opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time)

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the Site and to improve our marketing. These tools may collect information about your browsing behavior on and off our Site. The tools we use are:

On the access portal (almaresearch.net) only the Meta Pixel below runs, and the portal remembers in your browser that you confirmed the two statements, so it does not ask again. It takes no orders and asks for no personal details. When you continue to the catalogue, the advertising parameters in the address you arrived with are carried across, so that a visit can be attributed to the advertisement that produced it.

On the catalogue (almapeptides.com) all of the following run:

  • Microsoft Clarity (catalogue only) — a behavioral analytics service that records how visitors interact with the Site, including mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and the pages visited, and assembles these into session replays and heatmaps. Clarity masks the contents of text and form fields by default. Microsoft’s handling of this data is governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
  • Meta Pixel and Conversions API (both sites) — used to measure the performance of our advertising and to show relevant ads on Meta platforms. This involves sharing information about your activity on the Site with Meta, including pages viewed and purchases completed.
  • Essential and functional cookies set by our store software and our checkout provider, which keep your cart, your session, and your Research Use Only confirmation working.

Payment details are not recorded by any of these tools. Checkout is completed on our payment provider’s own pages rather than on this Site, so card and billing details are never present on a page that our analytics can see.

You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect Site functionality. See Section 6 for how to opt out of advertising-related sharing.

4. Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your Personal Information only with trusted third parties who help us operate the Site and fulfill orders — including payment processors, shipping carriers, and email/marketing service providers. We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request, or to otherwise protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your Order Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to meet our legal, accounting, and tax reporting obligations. Where you request deletion of your information, we will honor that request except where we are required or permitted by law to retain it.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and — for California residents under the CCPA/CPRA — the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell your personal information. Our use of the Meta Pixel and Conversions API described in Section 3 may, however, constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA. To opt out of that sharing, or to exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@almapeptides.com — for an opt-out, with “Do Not Share My Personal Information” in the subject line. You may also limit interest-based advertising through the ad preference settings of the platform concerned and through your browser’s privacy controls.
